MARS work with monks!!

We did just get to participate in a interesting activity with 30 Seconds to Mars (a rock group). They had us over to their place to visit and record some of the monks chants. They were really wonderful and we had a great time with them. Geshe Kelsang (our chant master) came up with a chant that they may put into one of the songs on their new album so that was exciting. I will let you know if it makes it. Personally I was impressed with their commitment to environmentalism. Their last tour was a “green tour” and they have incorporated global warming awareness into their music videos. All and all it was a lot of fun working with them and discussing world issues. Nosotros solo llegamos a participar en una actividad interesante con 30 Seconds to Mars (un grupo de rock). Ellos nos tenían en un lugar para visitar y grabar algunos de los cantos con los monjes. Ellos eran realmente maravillosos y pasamos un buen momento.
